Performances
DASSdance has been putting on action-packed performances for almost 20 years, starting in NYC at venues such as the Joyce Soho, Barynishnakov Arts Center and Diane Von Furstenberg - The Theatre. DASSdance began presenting performances and programs for youth in 2011. As the school grows, we are passionate about giving young dancers the opportunity to perform in a variety of settings. DASSdance School has 4 annual performances that all dancers are eligible perform in, Nutcracker, All-4-1 Dancepolooza and Alice in Wonderland, as well as an all-student showcase in June. Our week long summer programs also culminate with a performance.
Santa Breakfast Mini-Nutcracker
Our Mini - Nutcracker has grown from a single performance to 6 sold out events over 2 weekends. Meet Santa Claus while DASSdance professionals and kids perform the story of The Nutcracker. Our Mini Nutcracker offers kids the opportunity to see the dancing up close as well as offering balloon twisting and a continental breakfast for all to enjoy.

Daniel Wilkins, Artistic Director of DASSdance performed as a child in his parent's production of the original Mini-Nutcracker at Fredrick and Nelson Santa Breakfast. The tradition now moves forward with DASSdance offering its own Santa Breakfast & Mini- Nutcracker at the Historic Washington Hall and Parish Hall in Seattle.
Seattle City Nutcracker
A Nutcracker that will inspire a new generation. DASSdance premiered Seattle City Nutcracker in 2019 introducing audiences to a contemporary take on a classic holiday production.
Seattle City Nutcracker stands out with a mechanical doll lit with LEDs flying above the stage, black-lit AI robots in the battle scene, and an authentic journey around the world in the land of the sweets. DASSdance engages all ages with an athletic All-Terrain melding of ballet, jazz, tap, and acrobatics.
ALL 4 1 DANCEPALOOZA
All 4 1 dancepalooza is Seattle's high octane contemporary dance festival showcasing over 100 rising young STARS from all over the Puget Sound as well as a special guest host from NYC. See tomorrow's talent today up close at Broadway Performance Hall! Local professional companies including DASSdance Co. join top youth dance companies that represent the best of Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern. Diversity, Passion and Talent shine bright creating edge of your seat entertainment!
Alice in Wonderland
Daniel Wilkins, Artistic Director of DASSdance takes this imaginative story and creates a magical theatrical experience with amazing professional hand stand balancing in the tea party to the charming and impressive students taking on all the wild and crazy characters. Ice cream sundaes and face painting make this a great event for young families.

DASSdance is known for its athletic hybrid of styles ranging from hip-hop to ballet and tumbling to modern. Our Alice in Wonderland is appropriate for all ages but with surprises and athletic feats of grace and skill you would expect from DASS. The talents of the dancers will shine and the vision of the story will ignite your imagination!
