DASSdance Company Members
This is Alyssa-Marie Muña’s first season as a DASSdance company member, and she is also currently in her second season with Peninsula Ballet Theatre. She grew up training with Ayako School of Ballet and Peninsula Youth Ballet. In 2019, she began studying with the School of International Ballet, and over the years has also attended programs with American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Manila, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and Joffrey Ballet School.
Dade Glaser joined DASSdance as a company member in 2008. He has also worked with Whidbey Island Dance Theater as a guest artist since 2011. Prior to that he trained with Evergreen City Ballet and British Dancing Academy under Wade Walthall, Kevin Kaiser, Danielle Wilkins, Veronica Peters, and Sarah Christopherson. Dade has learned, performed, and taught numerous dance styles including tap, modern, contemporary, hip hop, classical ballet, and ballroom. He is excited to be performing with DASSdance for the 2024 season.
Faith O’Brochta is in her first season as a DASSdance company member. Growing up, Faith trained pre-professionally in numerous dance styles at Island Dance Studio. She has performed in several classical ballet productions, and has also danced in contemporary work by artists including Aaron Cash, Deeanna Hiett, Jamee Pitts, and Daniel Wilkins. Faith now teaches dance to young artists.
This is KraShane 'Spinz' Sims’ first season as a DASSdance company member. He grew up training as an award-winning competitive dancer in numerous dance styles. In 2016, he joined Kutt’N’Up, where he developed his abilities as a hip hop performer and became known as ‘Spinz’. In 2018, he began attending Idyllwild Arts Academy, a performing arts high school that provided him training in modern, jazz, tap, and classical ballet. After graduating in 2022, he went on to study at The Ailey School.
This is Phoenix Wilkins’ second season as a DASSdance company member, and he is also currently in his first season with Peninsula Ballet Theatre. Phoenix has always been surrounded by dance, and he started training right here at DASSdance at age 7. Over the years he studied ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and acro. In his final year in the school, he was invited to join the DASSdance company for the premiere of 19 Stories. After graduating, Phoenix attended the professional training program with State Street Ballet, and has also trained with artists including Donald Byrd, Alonzo King, and Stephanie Saland.
Shannon Adams has been a company member with DASSdance since 2018. Growing up, she danced competitively, and studied Korean folk dance, modern, jazz, and ballet. She has had opportunities to train with EDGE Dance Studio, Broadway Dance Center, Dance New Amsterdam, The Joffrey Ballet School, American Dance Festival, The School at Jacob’s Pillow, and more. Shannon graduated Cum Laude from the University of Utah in 2004 with a BFA in Modern Dance. Throughout her time in college, she worked with artists including Brent Schneider, David Dorfman, and Faye Driscoll. Shannon has been a teaching artist for 25 years, and loves the opportunity to develop artistry in her students.
