Religilistic presented the conflict and beauty of divine worship. Set against the background of ceremonial music from Africa to the South Pacific, it explored world cultures, exposing today's increasing interdependence.

Religilistic (2004)

Religilistic delved into reality conflicting with long standing tradition through the universal language of dance. In this work, the audience experienced the many versions of the human condition: pain, desire, regality, and humility. This piece included authentic ceremonial music, traditionally influenced costumes by Diane von Furstenberg, innovative lighting design by Jeff Sugg, and visual art by Lyle Starr.
